Rematriating Borikén events are held in Mayaguez at CucubaNacíon, art space of the project creator Yasmín Hernández. These include the monthly series Trinchera de Ideas, (every third thursday, 5-7pm) and other events featuring folks on their rematriation journey. This marks our second virtual session of the Trinchera de Ideas: Rematriation Conversations series. The in-person series has been hosted monthly at CucubaNación in Mayagüez, Borikén since 2024. These gatherings offer an intimate space for Boricuas, from here, from there and from the moon, to discuss our rematriation longings and journeys. The virtual sessions will be mostly in English/ Spanglish but we will make every effort to accommodate everyone.
